Steve was very professional, he did the work on time and on budget. The work was urgent because of getting flooding in my finished basement and I had great difficulty getting plumbers to respond on time. He went above and beyond researching the various options for me and finding the most appropriate for my needs and he gave me a very competitive price for it. He has knowledge and common sense and great communication to explain the scope and reasoning and the different options.

Owner Steve Akian and his crew are the epitome of what a plumbing experience should be. They give an accurate estimate at a very competitive rate and do phenomenal work. The company is extremely thorough and meticulous in their work and leave no detail spared. I recently had a water boiler and two toilets installed in my house. It was an extremely difficult situation as the house is very old, but Steve and his team quickly improvised a cost-efficient and effective solution - and everything works great. Steve even followed up with me a week later to make sure everything was still working well and thanked me for my business. While almost every other plumber I've hired gives me some ridiculous time-frame of when they will arrive, then not even show up, I've grown tired of wasted time and taking days off for nothing. Steve was punctual, friendly, highly experienced and skilled, and kept me posted every step of the way. Better service, better price, and better peace of mind - I've definitely found my plumber for life!

I contacted Steve Akian owner of Akian Plumbing & Drain Services for some drain issues I was having at my home in Watertown MA. Steve arrived promptly on time and was ready to go with tools in hand. I showed him the slow drain problem I was having and also mention that the toilet was loose. He went right to work and after about a 1/2 hour called me down. He explained the drain was very difficult to clear but that he was persistent and found the problem he then explained why it was slow and then how he fixed it. Then he recommended a new gasket for the toilet be replaced and then proceeded to install this gasket and secured the toilet to the floor. Steve is a young professional who recently received his masters plumbing license. He was prompt in arriving and in returning my phone calls, his work was excellent, and am happy I know Steve for future plumbing problems because I know he will respond (unlike others). His bill wasn't to bad either, all around a great experience.

I have an old house, built in 1920, and it needed some plumbing work. Akian Plumbing was priced right and I felt comfortable with them. The work was done on time and done very well. I feel that they went above and beyond. I would hire them again with no hesitation. Very pleased to have used Akain Plumbing.

I had water all over my basement. I called Akian Plumbing, he came and right away he knew where the problem was coming from. He worked until late night to finish the job in my basement. He is very knowledgeable, very professional and dependable. Because I was very happy with his work, I called him again for a leaking faucet. Now I use him all the time for any plumbing needs. I highly recommend him.

I have a buisiness and the hot water suddenly stopped working. I called Steve and he immediately got to Work . He thought it might be the heater, he kept looking around and saw the problem was with the pipe not the heater saving me a lot of money. I would recommend Steve to Anyone reading this. A different plumber may have swapped out my working heater
