I cannot recommend AKB for your project enough. Our design is absolutely incredible--modern, cozy, unique and perfectly functional with details I would have never thought of. Right away, the team got us and what we needed in the space. We were sold the moment we saw Michelle's first renderings, to which we made no changes--I just asked for her picks for our lighting, backsplash, and paint too! She, Ogi, and Marnie are incredibly helpful, kind, and meticulous, always ready to help with any questions we had and calmly adjusting our whole timeline when the pandemic started. They went above and beyond numerous times, including offering to store cabinetry for us and bringing items to our house so we didn't have to pick them up, and were a pleasure to work with. We went with the contractor and all the vendors AKB recommended, which worked out perfectly and made the whole process very stress free for us. Everyone says a kitchen renovation is going to be a nightmare, but we had a smooth and--dare I say it--fun ride. Every day I stand in the kitchen and am so happy and grateful for all they've done for us. We will be customers for life if we ever renovate again.

We couldn’t be happier with the complete rehab of our kitchen and master bath. Our condo is located in a vintage building, and had some “workarounds” that were no problem for AKB and its preferred contractor. The open kitchen/dining/bar area replaced an outdated kitchen. AKB even added an under the counter washer and dryer. They thought of everything to make the kitchen very efficient for cooking and entertaining. The master bath required moving a wall and eliminating a closet to accommodate a large walk in shower. Through the imaginative ideas of the AKB team we were able to enlarge the bath and recoup the lost closet space with a built in MBR closet and 2nd hall closet. They came close to budget and were good at estimating the time frame for completion. Their contractor worked very well with the building engineer and plumbers, abiding by all the building rules and regs. The materials used were all of high quality. We would highly recommend AKB for any size kitchen or bath remodel project.

Marnie, Michelle and Ogi were fantastic. Each did their part to ensure the design process went smoothly. Having only a rough idea of the layout I wanted, Michelle was able to focus my needs into a functional urban kitchen that is practical for a small space, and timeless enough to not be considered trendy. They all worked closely with my contractor to keep the project on-time and on budget. Very happy and exploring doing 3 bathroom renovation projects with them!

We chose Andersonville Kitchen & Bath for a kitchen remodeling project after meeting with Ogi and Michelle. We were starting from scratch, so design help was crucial. Michelle was easy to talk with, a good listener, and came up with creative designs within our budget. Marnie managed the project and attention to the details. Both were patient and professional - yet also kept things fun as we stepped through various options and ideas. We used our own contractor, and the AKB team was there for us through construction, helping as cabinets arrived and questions arose. The end result is a beautiful, highly functional kitchen that we love. We highly recommend!

I recently worked with AKB to reface the cabinets and drawers in my kitchen. The experience was highly satisfactory. Everyone with whom I spoke was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They discussed various options with me, they had full-size examples of most of the work on site so that I could see it and touch it and they sent me home with samples to compare finishes and colors. This made finding the correct choice very easy. We did run into a snag with the fabrication of the doors. There was a miscommunication or misunderstanding regarding the product and all of the doors came with lot-number markings that were very unattractive and the would be visible when the doors were open. AKB immediately acknowledged that this was a problem and was extremely helpful in getting the doors remade as quickly as possible, with no additional cost to me and without me needing to manage or motivate the progress. In an ideal situation, nothing would go wrong during a remodel but that is unlikely and so not a feasible requirement. But it is a reasonable expectation that vendors will take responsibility for and ownership of a problem and will fix it without hassle or argument. This isn’t always the case but AKB proved themselves to be capable and reliable in these circumstances and I both respect and appreciate that. I would definitely do business with AKB in the future and would recommend them without any reservations.

What started out as a replacement of kitchen cabinets, counters, applicances and floor shifted to a total remodel thanks to the amazing design by Michelle at AKB! Upon seeing the rendetion for a completely remodeled kitchen I moved forward no questions asked. Ogi and Michelle were there holding my hand through the selection of a contractor. Their recommendation of hiring Nermin and Sons was brilliant! Nermin worked his heart out to make everything perfect. His attention to detail and the pride he takes in his workmanship puts him at the top of the list for any home project. Marnie from AKB was the project manager any concerns or questions I had were answered promptly with on site visits and professionalism. To sum it all up, AKB was the best choice for me and should be top on the list for anyone wishing to update or remodel their kitchen. As for me, on to the bathroom project!!!!!!!!!

I cannot recommend these guys enough. Ogi, Michelle, and Monica all worked together with the construction team that we assembled to make my dream home a reality. I could never have done this without their passion, creativity, and guidance. I wish that I had 2 or 3 more kitchens and bathrooms for them to help me design! I work in the new home industry and rather than go to the people that I work with, I chose to support local businesses and work with someone that I am glad is in my neighborhood. And I am so happy that decision brought me to AKB. I don't think my home would have nearly the style and sophistication that it has had I gone with a more "cookie cutter" design firm. They listened to me. They encouraged me. They kept me focused on the end result. And they delivered on every promise. Again, I can't recommend them enough. If you need a new kitchen or just a refreshing, call them. Now.

Very respectful and efficient. The project estimate was conducted without extra selling and was realistic. The kitchen ceramic tile and counter changes were well planned out and the personnel arrived on time as scheduled.

Michelle and Ogi were incredible to work with. They took a very difficult project with many structural impediments to our vision and made it work within our budget. We had seen many contractors and designers prior and no one was able to come close to helping us see and understand what the final space would look like until AKB. They never pressured us to upgrade or add anything. We trusted them so much that we went on vacation and told Michelle that all outstanding decisions were hers to make. And they all turned out beautifully. We would use them again any day!

We had a great experience with Michelle Brewster. She was very knowledgable and helpful in organizing and executing our kitchen design. We could easily recommend her to anyone needing a kitchen designer.
