Steve is a wonderful architect--he's professional, ethical and keeps customer's budget in mind when designing. We worked with Steve on an extensive renovation of our house this year (2021) and he is attentive and listened to us. He provided us with the design for an open floor plan, modern home that functioned well for our family, all within our budget. This is not our first project with Steve (we worked with him in the past back in 2014) and I am sure we will definitely use him again next time!

I worked with Doug Miller of AHM Architects on a renovation / addition project. I was very pleased with Doug's knowledge of local building code and especially his patience. The price was fair as well as compared to other architects. I would highly recommend Doug.

AHM Architects are fantastic! Our home was built in the 30's and was likely not touched in at least 40 years. AHM helped us to analyze the space and figure out how to bring the historic charm up to modern layout. The end result is nothing short of spectacular and we love it more and more every day!

Steve Hockstein from AHM Architects provided highly professional architectural services to my wife and me. Steve first thoroughly outlined how he provided his services and the expected cost. After we contracted with Steve he presented several designs for a major addition to our existing home. The one we chose turned out to be a wonderful open design with lots of features and functionality. It was everything we wanted in a major addition. It included designs for 3 floors including a new master bath, a new main/guest bath, a bonus room adjacent the master bedroom, a new family room with lots of windows creating an airy appearance, and finished basement including a new bathroom and 9 ft. high ceiling. During construction Steve frequently gave guidance both onsite and via phone to the builder to help ensure the desired results. in addition to his professionalism, we found it very easy to work with Steve.
