I had Mike build a piece of furniture as a present for my wife. Mike was very patient as we worked through the design, materials and finishing options, answering any questions I had. And the finished piece is beautiful, my wife absolutely loves it and cannot wait to have Mike work on another project. Mike worked with us to build a custom built-in around our fireplace. Our style is a mix of transitional and modern and he did a great job making our ideas come to life. He was fun to work with, had great ideas but was ultimately a collaborator that made us feel part of the project too. We appreciated that Mike likes to work on painted projects in addition to wood-toned/stained projects We like a crisp white in our home and our built-in was beautifully professionally painted. We were very pleased to work with someone who is versatile and happy to create a variety of different styles. I hired Mike to build a couple of radiator covers for our living and dining rooms. We gave him a general idea of what we were looking for. When he returned with a sketch he blew us away. He managed to create something even better than what we had imagined. Now that they are installed not a person comes into the house without commenting on them. I have some family members creating projects in their house just so that they can have Mike build something for them! We already have him working on another project.
