13 Hub Lane

Have always loved this store. Shopped here many times. I helped my son furnish almost his entire new home from the Roswell location. We returned one of the tables and had a second one delivered, neither table worked, (they were not special ordered). A few months have gone by and we went in this weekend hoping new items had been purchased and that maybe their vendors had new items that could be ordered. The original designers we had worked with were not there. My son had paid in cash, and NO one in the store could even tell us where the store credit was recorded. Jean (the manager) was called in to help figure out the amount and verify what we showed the amount to be. We had receipts and text messages but apparently we should have been given a store credit on a gift card. Jean could not verify the amount. I explained who we were and she said yes she remembered. I told her my son had paid cash. She stating she wouldn’t have cash on hand but once she could verify the amount she would issue a check. I said we were happy to take a store credit as long as we could find a table. However at this point we had been in the store over an hour looking again and waiting on the store credit amount to be verified. We went through every vendor online (per Linda), and we couldn’t find the right size, or height. Still no credit amount, and we needed to leave. Jean said to give her a couple of days she loved detective work and she would get back to us. 3 days later, she finally text me the credit information and said she would issue a store credit. I told her since we were unable to find a table we would just take the check. She text back that she felt that a store credit was fair. I guess so...for them!!! We had worked with at this point 3 to 4 designers and had not been able to find anything. It wasn’t for lack of trying, it’s simply an odd height and circumference based on the chairs we chose (from there) and the unique window seating area. She text back that she never said she would give a refund. Which is completely untrue. I text her that it was silly to continue to text and that I would come in to discuss this in person. I went by the store after work and I was met by Marcia, one of the original designers we worked with. I was told Jean was in but she wanted to see if she could assist us. I said I really didn’t want to repeat myself again but that we just wanted a refund and had found a table at another store. She wanted to know what store and, who the vendor was?!?! Really? She stated that Jean was pretty adamant that she would only issue a store credit because it had been so long?!?! But she would go get her. She went into the office and spoke to Jean. Jean then came out and said she really didn’t think she said she would give a refund, and that she might have said she didn’t have cash on hand.... I said, why would you have even said that if we weren’t talking about a refund? She said well she had referred back to her notes and she had written down store credit. I bet she did! Same folks that couldn’t even find the “store credit amount” and waited 3 days to get back to us. She then proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t make the decision and would now have to get the owner to sign off on this and that she was traveling returning from Highpoint. Pretty sure she could be reached on her cellphone. I didn’t push the issue but I was in the store, had waited 3 days so why wasn’t that offered? That would have been good customer service. She said she knew how to get in touch with me and would let me know today. Well at 530 pm today I had heard nothing and I text to ask what time I could come by and pick up the check... her read receipt was on.. she read it and never responded. At this point they have made thousands and still holding over a thousand dollars of my sons money, and I can’t even get a response. They are out nothing.

Love this shop! Pretty, sweet, inviting with beautiful home accents. Kim & Betty are so nice and helpful without being pushy. Will be back!

My team and I were in Watersound installing our clients new home and we needed some really great accessories to finish of the house and what we found at 13 Hub Lane was nothing less than exceptional! They had an amazing selection of gorgeous throw pillows, and those oh-so-important decorative accessories that make a house a home. Everyone there was exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful and kind. I loved the place so much I went back to purchase a Thank You gift for our client....which they in turned LOVED!!

We love the staff and the merchandise at 13 Hub Lane. We have purchased several home decor items from the store for our second home on 30A. They have also introduced us to an excellent home service person, Danny who is the best for assistance with home projects.

The shop is amazing. Great decor, beautifully decorated and lots to choose from. Was able to get rugs and pendant lights for our new home. Will definitely shop their again when I am on vacation!

This is a store that you must visit if you are in the Water Sound or 30A area. They have so many items that it may take several trips to discover all the great finds in the store. Also, the staff is very helpful and mindful of their out of town guests. For instance, I bought a pillow this summer and they helped me find a matching pillow that I decided I needed once I got home and they mailed it to me in Birmingham, AL.

Having recently purchased a property in Prominience at "The Hub" I needed to furnish it, Hub13 has been a great resource! Their offerings are "beach" but with a contemporary flair. Prices are reasonable too. The staff is great and they offer as much or as little design service as you need! Best resource on 30A !
