local metal fabrication shop/ have the countertops installed by a professional. Solid 3/4" plywood substrate, and make careful note of the dimensions. Ssteel countertops look best with integral edge, fabricated with a "brake" machine. Flat sheets are a bit less expensive, and add a nice WOOD EDGE TRIM FOR CONTRAST. Merzbau Design

Stainless steel countertops look best with an integral edge, which the metal shop will fabricate with a "brake" machine. Flat stainless steel sheets are a bit less expensive -you can always add a nice wood edge trim for contrast.
