Floor paint

What paint was used on the floors? Brand and colour please. The finish looks smooth. I'm having a similar dilemma with regard to painting wood floors. My refurbished Victorian cottage has new oak floors with an oil finish that is flat and steals light. Am I brave enough to paint? Or should I use a light coloured wool/sisal remnant to lift it? I've got a white marble fire surround, traditional white linen sofa, natural linen curtains with grey, russet and orange leafy embroidery. Two French style upholstered armchairs. Colourful original Russian and European oil paintings on the wall and up the stairs, and greyish timber-look wallpaper in the entrance and the under-stairs wall. French oak sideboard with dark marble top, warm orange upholstered dining chairs with black legs. Grange oak table with cream legs. Black Chinese console table and a rustic narrow cabinet from Eastern Europe in original blue paint. Bright ideas welcome!! Off piste ideas also welcome! Thanks!
