This South Florida home is a sleek and contemporary design with a pop of color. The bold blue tones in furniture and fabrics are a perfect contrast to the clean white walls and cabinets. The beautiful glass details give the home a modern finish.

AFTER: BAR | We completely redesigned the bar structure by opening it up. It was previously closed on one side so we wanted to be able to walk through to the living room. We created a floor to ceiling split vase accent wall behind the bar to give the room some texture and break up the white walls. We carried over the tile from the entry to the bar and used hand stamped carrara marble to line the front of the bar and used a smoky blue glass for the bar counters. | Renovations + Design by Blackband Design | Photography by Tessa Neustadt

Steve Kunz created this stunning bar using 2 colours of painted cabinets - Latitude North and Spring Blossom. The wall is covered with Xstone, creating a textured feel.

Rec room, bunker, theatre room, man cave - whatever you call this room, it has one purpose and that is to kick back and relax. This almost 17' x 30' room features built-in cabinetry to hide all of your home theatre equipment, a u-shaped bar, custom bar back with LED lighting, and a custom floor to ceiling wine rack complete with powder-coated pulls and hardware. Spanning over 320 sq ft and with 19 ft ceilings, this room is bathed with sunlight from four huge horizontal windows. Built-ins and bar are Black Panther (OC-68), both are Benjamin Moore colors. Flooring supplied by Torlys (Colossia Pelzer Oak).

Now this is a bar made for entertaining, conversation and activity. With seating on both sides of the peninsula you'll feel more like you're in a modern brewery than in a basement. A secret hidden bookcase allows entry into the hidden brew room and taps are available to access from the bar side.
What an energizing project with bright bold pops of color against warm walnut, white enamel and soft neutral walls. Our clients wanted a lower level full of life and excitement that was ready for entertaining.

This bar is complete with ample storage, two bar fridges, a wall-mounted TV and a beautiful long counter-top fabricated in Vicostone’s Nero Marquina stone to create a strong statement against the light, bright white walls of the space. What a great set-up for watching the game and enjoying snacks and beverages with family & friends.
