A baby’s nursery designed to be gender neutral and adaptable to the changing needs of a growing child.
The bold yellows in the rug and tiled fireplace provide a strong graphic contrast to the pretty pale blues, pinks and greens, while mid-century teak pops pleasingly against the blue. Vintage French educational posters in the perfect palette are framed on the walls.

This is a great shot of the bedside table and bed canopy. The table was from Homesense and I wanted to add the childs favourite dinosaurs here to make them part of the decor not just a toy. I added a plant here to bring the space alive and make a great contract against the dinosour toys and colour scheme. the little toy storage underneath makes good use of the space and the bedside faux fur rug gives that cosy feel to the room.

We had an Ocean Blue Linoleum floor laid so she could paint and play without worrying about spills. I designed the bench to have cubbies built specifically for the matching bins and a bookshelf for storage. It is deep enough that we could use the little girls crib mattress for a bench perfect to snuggle while reading a book or to take a quick nap. A rope with clothes pins is a great spot to showcase her latest masterpiece. The father travels for work so we added a kids map for her to track Daddy.
