Sutherland Model
In this living space we wanted to create a neutral palette that is warm, inviting and full of textures. Dark, hand-scraped hardwood flooring anchors the space while a lighter paint color on the wall allows the space to remain bright and airy. The sofas are upholstered in linen fabric and layered with faux crocodile pillows. The window treatments bring in a knubby texture with the fabric and faux wood roman shades define the windows. A geometric area rug sits on top of the hardwood floor and antique trunk style coffee tables create the perfect juxtaposition to the space. The room is finished off with a bold antique brass pendant light and statement mirror.
