Split rail or post and rail fencing is a great option when you want to add a touch of rustic charm to your yard. We have a system that incorporates long-lasting cedar fencing, durable, attractive galvanized "cage mesh," below ground pest barrier, and raised beds filled with balanced organic soil. Beautiful, protected, and productive--that's our idea of a great garden.

This is their garden about a year later. Native and drought tolerant plants fill the area between the street and the set-back deer fence. The fence is transparent to keep a friendly face to neighbors.

Seattle Urban Farm Company
These four custom cedar raised beds were constructed at the Seattle Urban Farm Co headquarters and delivered, fully assembled, to the clients rooftop deck. Each of the four raised beds include a cold frame structure that sits 2ʼ above the raised bed with interchangeable south-angled panels: greenhouse paneling for winter and shade cloth covering for summer. This addition to the raised beds will allow the client to continue growing crops throughout the year in the unique microclimate of a roof, protecting crops from excess heat, cold, and wind.

Elizabeth Leonard- The home owner wanted to squeeze in a veggie garden without sacrificing too much of her yard where her children play, as well as securing the garden from the local deer population. For an added touch we planted deer resistant herbs and ornamentals surrounding the enclosure. We succeeded in providing an aesthetically pleasing garden that produced enough for this small family, by using the space she had effectively. The deer fencing blends into the environment while securing her harvest . All while staying within her budget.
