Reclaimed Wood Kitchen Shelf
My husband and I used an old floor joist from the basement of our 1917 home as a kitchen shelf above our stove. We cut it in half, applied one coat of Howard Feed N' Wax and used two brackets for around $3.50 each to secure it to the wall.
