multiple shelves rather than just two big shelves, then have space for decs as well as books. candlesticks work well but we won't have that, we could have plants on our mantle or bowls like they do, this palette is prob a little grey and cool, less keen on type of curtain where can see rings and not so neat. the colour of the curtain may not stay time, we want the curtains style and colour to last decades, ie classic and low risk
