A full kitchen redesign in Norwood Junction, taking a kitchen that previously lacked enough storage to create a stylish and functional space that my clients want to cook and spend time in. The brief was to create a kitchen with dark tones and plenty of wood, and I designed this with black fenix and oak veneer doors, coupled with splashback and floor tiles for texture. Here the layout was dramatically changed, adding in floor to ceiling cabinetry, open shelving, a breakfast cupboard and opening up the window by removing the sink and dishwasher that were previously here. The kitchen, located in the lower ground floor, was updated with bespoke cabinetry fitted around the chimney breast with a range cooker within the existing fireplace.

Reconfiguring and extending this family townhouse to maximise the light and visual connections internally and to the outside space.

A bespoke island and kitchen

A custom designed kitchen in a Barn conversation with a oak vaulted ceiling.

Walls were removed, internal windows added and an off the shelf kitchen was elevated through the use of vintage & handmade details. Hob aperture & internal window are lined in reclaimed science lab worktops, complete with mean graffiti. Handmade moroccan tiles are laid in an unexpected pattern. Vintage German cigar moulds clad the peninsular, which is finished with an aged brass kick plate.

Roundhouse bespoke kitchen in a mix of Urbo, Metro and Classic ranges in white matt lacguer with composite stone worksurface, Fisher & Paykel appliances and white Aga.

Formica Dusty Jade meets oak-veneered birch plywood and semi-recessed handles for a fresh, joyful kitchen diner. Plykea Ürtil shelves and sideboards create a cosy reading nook, while an oak pantry flows seamlessly into banquette seating. Following extensive refurbishment, the owners of this converted malthouse replaced their small and cramped 70s style kitchen with a leading edge yet artisan-built kitchen that truly is the heart of the home The solid wood cabinets contrast beautifully with the sandstone floor and the large cooking hearth, with the island being the focus of this working kitchen.
