is this cedar? how do you make it keep its color?

    Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. Yes, the entry wall and the entry courtyard fence/wall shown in this image are both cedar. We specify and use very high performing finishes on exterior cedar which provide both initial beauty and also long lasting protection from UV and the elements. Thanks again.

    Osmo uv stabilising oil is a great product to help prevent the cedar colour fading. Hope this helps.
