KrimsonHAUSThis master bathroom remodel was a lot of fun. We wanted to switch things up by adding an open shelving divider between the sink and shower. This allows for additional storage in this small space. Storage is key when it comes to a couple using a bathroom space. We flanked a bank of drawers on either side of the floating vanity and doubled up storage by adding a higher end medicine cabinet with ample storage, lighting and plug outlets.
TOPOS Architects, IncWe completely renovated a simple low-lying house for a university family by opening the back side with large windows and a wrap-around patio. The kitchen counter extends to the exterior, enhancing the sense of openness to the outside. Large overhanging soffits and horizontal cedar siding keep the house from overpowering the view and help it settle into the landscape.
An expansive maple floor and white ceiling reinforce the horizontal sense of space.

Pelletier + SchaarThis home, which was originally built in 1960, is a classic example of Mid-Century Modern Design. Over the years, the home had fallen into disrepair. The clients, who had recently purchased the home, approached Pelletier+Schaar because they wanted to upgrade and modernize the bathroom, master and laundry as well as add an expanded deck with a covered portion while simultaneously maintaining the aesthetics characteristic of mid-century modern design.
Acorn Deck House CompanyWith a grand total of 1,247 square feet of living space, the Lincoln Deck House was designed to efficiently utilize every bit of its floor plan. This home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a two-car detached garage and boasts an impressive great room, whose soaring ceilings and walls of glass welcome the outside in to make the space feel one with nature.
James Frank Construction IncMid-Century update to a home located in NW Portland. The project included a new kitchen with skylights, multi-slide wall doors on both sides of the home, kitchen gathering desk, children's playroom, and opening up living room and dining room ceiling to dramatic vaulted ceilings. Michaelson Homes LLCThe wall behind the stove used to be an opening to the foyer. It was closed in to allow for more wall space for cabinets and appliances. The navy cabinets were crafted and finished in Sherwin Williams Naval by Riverside Custom Cabinetry and designed by Michaelson Homes designer Lisa Mungin. They are accented with brass hardware knobs and pulls from the Emtek Trail line. The modern pendants were purchased from Ferguson. The showpiece of the kitchen is the stunning quartz waterfall island.
