Made by PatchiI always reach for neutral tones when designing our house flips. This allows the overall look of the space to feel less personal and more appealing to potential buyers. For this bathroom, I focused on neutral tones with a pinch of rich moss green you see on the cabinetry.

This was a renovation project. We removed the existing early '90s vanity, mirror and flour light fitting and all the plumbing fixtures. We than tiled the wall and put the new fixtures and fittings back.
I love the combination of the black, white and timber with the soft greens of the mosaics & of course the odd house plant!

With her parents originating from Trinidad & Tobago and his parents from Jamaica, they wanted their home to be an authentic representation of their heritage, with a midcentury modern twist. We found inspiration from a colorful Trinidad & Tobago tourism poster that they already owned and carried the tropical colors throughout the house — rich blues in the main bathroom, deep greens and oranges in the powder bathroom, mustard yellow in the dining room and guest bathroom, and sage green in the kitchen. This project was featured on Dwell in January 2022.
