Note that the doors have no casings, nor are there applied baseboards. In fact, along with metal windows, the entire finish carpentry trade was eliminated. Instead, with the insertion of an inexpensive metal channel, the door frames and flush baseboard are separated from the sheetrock.
Skylights whose sides are contiguous with a wall promote maximum light bounce.
