Warren French InteriorsA coastal Scandinavian renovation project, combining a Victorian seaside cottage with Scandi design. We wanted to create a modern, open-plan living space but at the same time, preserve the traditional elements of the house that gave it it's character.
Silvia Grand InteriorsThe owner of the apartment has been living between Russia and Scotland for the last 10 years. Our goal was to create an environment that exuded maximum comfort and relaxation, like a luxury hotel, but with the character and feel of a home. The owners of the apartment requested the creation of a cheerful vibrant open space for their family and a separate area to host the reception of guests. When a guest stays in their designated area, we wanted to create a feeling that the area is self-contained and did not impose on the rest of the home – meaning they can feel comfortable and relaxed as a guest.
My intention was to keep a modern minimalist feel, maximising the use of the open space. To achieve this effect, I removed the walls between kitchen, the adjacent room and the hallway.
Absolute Project ManagementEfficient use of the space has been ensured during the design phase for an ergonomic use. New white bathroom units are shining in the area, allowing a clean and smart look. The overflow of the floor tiles to the side of the bathtub looks refreshing. Chrome Samuel Heath tap-ware has added a beautiful touch to the space fitting beautifully with the white units. New Space ArchitectureOur clients wanted a complete contrast to their existing brick bungalow.
Gary and Caron were clear from the start; they wanted an extension that was beautiful, elegant and modern - a complete contrast from their existing brick bungalow. With some major internal alterations too, this project was brilliant to work on from start to finish. The use of a mono pitched roof, burnt timber cladding (done by the clients themselves), beautiful louvred shading and large areas of glazing all came together to create this striking extension to the home. The new rear living room provides a tranquil space, filled with light and with a seamless connection to the garden. Internally the new bedroom arrangement and master suite now allow the previously dark entrance hall to be flooded with light from front to back, cleverly dividing the internal space between bedrooms and daytime rooms. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and more importantly, so are the clients!

Bathroom + Kitchen ElevenFor the island, we added hidden cupboard space under the seating area, for the seldom used items. Also, incorporating a drawer with a double plug and USB point. Hiding unsightly cables with the ease of charging at the same time. To complement the curved island top, we mirrored this on the ceiling to enhance a softness to the design.
To eradicate the need of an overhead extractor fan, we used a Bora Pure recirculation extractor hob. The optimal airflow offers reduced noise when used and all odours are immediately captured at surface height. Perfect when entertaining.
