We are delighted to reveal our recent ‘House of Colour’ Barnes project.
We had such fun designing a space that’s not just aesthetically playful and vibrant, but also functional and comfortable for a young family. We loved incorporating lively hues, bold patterns and luxurious textures. What a pleasure to have creative freedom designing interiors that reflect our client’s personality.

A 5 floor family townhouse refurbishment, including a basement, rear, side and 5th floor addition.
A warm purple-grey micro cement hallway floor strikes one straight away, picking up on the special stain glass front door and the purple heart and bronze console table. Polished plaster walls above painted paneling threads itself through the core of the house – a lovely backdrop to a special contemporary art collection. Every room off this staircase presents a slightly different decorative feeling, from a basement clad in felt walling, to the master bedroom’s raw silk wallpaper and the bathroom’s dirty pink polished plaster and bespoke terrazzo vanity, to dark grey painted boys bedrooms and a limed Douglas Fir floor and screen divider in the 5th floor study and library.
Ali Robinson designed a black and perforated steel room divider between the family room and kitchen to display some lovely ceramics and nick nacks – large enough to do its separating job but transparent enough to view the rear garden from the kitchen. The family room’s library unit hides a TV and so doesn’t dominate what is a very relaxing seating, socializing and reading area. Our clients are avid readers and so special attention has been made to create reading spots throughout the house and in particular in the 5th floor library where we designed a screen-cum-library on a split level to shield the study from a designated reading area.
Ali Robinson was very fortunate to be commissioned by our clients to design 3 original pieces (Haymerle, Woodview and Drakefield) that all became, in due course, part of his new collection and from which he has won a number of international furniture awards. Further to that his Twyford shelving unit was adapted for the basement and his vitrine and elliptical console refined for the reception.

The image displays a streamlined home office area that is the epitome of modern minimalism. The built-in desk and shelving unit are painted in a soft neutral tone, providing a clean and cohesive look that blends seamlessly with the room's decor. The open shelves are thoughtfully curated with a mix of books, decorative objects, and greenery, adding a personal touch and a bit of nature to the workspace.
A stylish, contemporary desk lamp with a gold finish stands on the desk, offering task lighting with a touch of elegance. The simplicity of the lamp's design complements the overall minimalist aesthetic of the space.
The chair at the desk is a modern design piece itself, featuring a black frame with a woven seat and backrest, adding texture and contrast to the space without sacrificing comfort or style. The choice of chair underscores the room's modern vibe and dedication to form as well as function.
Underfoot, the carpet's plush texture provides comfort and warmth, anchoring the work area and contrasting with the sleek lines of the furniture. This office space is a testament to a design philosophy that values clean lines, functionality, and a calming color palette to create an environment conducive to productivity and creativity.

Wohntraum in Düsseldorf

The stylish home office has a distressed white oak flooring with grey staining and a contemporary fireplace with wood surround.

The conservatory space was transformed into a bright space full of light and plants. It also doubles up as a small office space with plenty of storage and a very comfortable Victorian refurbished chaise longue to relax in.

Exquisite home library with study desk. Built within the re-purposed Libcombe Hospital luxury residences. An impressively tall federation room allows for an equally impressive tall book case. Higher shelves are accessed by a rolling library ladder with stainless steel frame and timber treads.

In this Hampstead Villa we created a large family TV space with plenty of painted cabinets being used to store the family’s extensive collection of books whilst also providing a desk area.
