Living Room with Panelled Walls Ideas and Designs
Sharp and Grey Interiors
This home outside of Philadelphia was designed to be family friendly and comfortable space and is just the place to relax and spend family time as well as have enough seating for entertaining. The living room has a large sectional to cozy up with a movie or to entertain. The historic home is bright and open all while feeling collected, comfortable and cozy. The applied box molding on the living room wall adds a subtle pattern all while being a striking focal point for the room. The grand foyer is fresh and inviting and uncluttered and allows for ample space for guests to be welcomed to the home. The kitchen was refreshed to include a contrasting toned island, blue backsplash tile and bright brass fixtures and lighting
A New Day - Interior Design Studio
The living room at Highgate House. An internal Crittall door and panel frames a view into the room from the hallway. Painted in a deep, moody green-blue with stone coloured ceiling and contrasting dark green joinery, the room is a grown-up cosy space.
Ivywell Interiors | Bristol
This bay-fronted living room was transformedww thanks to a new bold colour scheme. We added panelling to create depth with a deep blue on the walls and tonal grey to lower the tall ceilings and create a more intimate setting. The furniture was replaced with bespoke sofa and fabric from British sofa maker William Yeoward. The gas fireplace was also replaced and curtains lined with a border to give them a new lease of life.

Repainting the fireplace, installing a new linear terrazzo bench and then creating a unique wood-slat feature wall in the dining area were just a few ways we updated this 1980s Vancouver Special.
Ann Lowengart Interiors
We juxtaposed bold colors and contemporary furnishings with the early twentieth-century interior architecture for this four-level Pacific Heights Edwardian. The home's showpiece is the living room, where the walls received a rich coat of blackened teal blue paint with a high gloss finish, while the high ceiling is painted off-white with violet undertones. Against this dramatic backdrop, we placed a streamlined sofa upholstered in an opulent navy velour and companioned it with a pair of modern lounge chairs covered in raspberry mohair. An artisanal wool and silk rug in indigo, wine, and smoke ties the space together.

Alcove Studio
The living area serves as a perfect vantage point while standing amidst bursts of bold colours & textures giving the apartment a chic modern look. The muted colour scheme paired with a red brick wall and textured marble dining tabletop creates the perfect composition of visual variety.
Wooden flooring in the living and passage areas brings in a tinge of warmth to those cosy spaces. A sage green sofa with loveseat printed cushions and a wine colour bar console adds cherry pops of colour to the neutral shell that encompasses them. A pill-shaped bar console breaks the grid of straight-line furniture
Shiny metallic luxe finishes are induced in the form of brass through the centre table, bar console and other furniture fittings. The mirror glass wall lends a shiny metallic edge adding to the luxe factor of the space. Colourful potted home plants not only bring nature to the living room but also create a symphony of greens with the green sofa and love seat.
Love Your Room LLC
This beautiful family wanted to update their dated family room to be a more glamorous bright inviting room. We removed a corner fireplace that was never used, and designed a custom large built in with room storage, a television, and lots of bookcase shelves for styling with precious decor. We incorporated unique picture molding wall treatment with inverted corners. We brought in a new custom oversized rug, and custom furniture. The room opens to the kitchen, so we incorporated a few pieces in there as well. Lots of reflective chrome and crystal!
