Sustainable Kitchens
A palette of mixed materials for a striking combination.
The dramatically dark cabinets are handcrafted with Richlite, a paper composite material with a leathery finish that ages gracefully. The light painted oak cabinets utilises the full sidewall to maximise storage painted in a light shade of Pale Powder with the grain shining through. Using a slide and hide mechanism on the double larder creates a breakfast station to keep the rest of the surfaces clutter-free, the vibrantly painted internals brings a pop of colour, so much so that the doors are predominantly left open!
The split level separates the kitchen from the dining room with bespoke banquette seating and a window seat reading nook.
Sola Kitchens
A typical Scandinavian kitchen…
Clean simplistic lines and high quality durable materials are the focal point of this design.
Solid birch cabinetry is matched with an Artscut Calacatta Gold splashback and worktop. An extra long sink has been carved into the worktop in order to home an indoor herb garden or an ice trough , whichever is preferred!

This detached 1930s house has been completely renovated, extended and remodelled to create a stunning family space. The wrap around glazing provides plenty natural light and a stunning view on the large sanctuary garden with mature trees. Scandinavian furniture and light colours give a light and dream like atmosphere. Upstairs features a newly remodelled main bathroom and an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom.

Set within an airy contemporary extension to a lovely Georgian home, the Siatama Kitchen is our most ambitious project to date. The client, a master cook who taught English in Siatama, Japan, wanted a space that spliced together her love of Japanese detailing with a sophisticated Scandinavian approach to wood.
At the centre of the deisgn is a large island, made in solid british elm, and topped with a set of lined drawers for utensils, cutlery and chefs knifes. The 4-post legs of the island conform to the 寸 (pronounced ‘sun’), an ancient Japanese measurement equal to 3cm. An undulating chevron detail articulates the lower drawers in the island, and an open-framed end, with wood worktop, provides a space for casual dining and homework.
A full height pantry, with sliding doors with diagonally-wired glass, and an integrated american-style fridge freezer, give acres of storage space and allow for clutter to be shut away. A plant shelf above the pantry brings the space to life, making the most of the high ceilings and light in this lovely room.

We kept it simple by the tub for a truly Japandi spa-like escape. The Brizo Jason Wu tub filler adds some contrast but otherwise the tile wall is the artwork here.

Our brief was to expand this period property into a modern 3 bedroom family home. In doing so we managed to create some interesting architectural openings which introduced plenty of daylight and a very open view from front to back.
