Frome InteriorsA very traditional kitchen in a beautiful Georgian home. The kitchen was designed around the Aga and an antique table as the focal points. The client wanted a calm and elegant space which felt as if it belonged to the house. The very simple cabinetry with no modern appliances on show creates a harmonious space, perfect for entertaining and family life. The traditional brass ironmongery and taps will age beautifully, as will the stunning marble tops and splashback. The shelf adds space for displaying treasured possessions and hides some practical lighting for the worktops. The modern fridge freezer is hidden in an old walk in pantry which provides space for food storage as well. The wall units which surround an existing archway to the snug form the perfect space for storing glassware and crockery.

Snug KitchensOur Snug Kitchens showroom display combines bespoke traditional joinery, seamless modern appliances and a touch of art deco from the fluted glass walk in larder.
The 'Studio Green' painted cabinetry creates a bold background that highlights the kitchens brass accents. Including Armac Martin Sparkbrook brass handles and patinated brass Quooker fusion tap.
The Neolith Calacatta Luxe worktop uniquely combines deep grey tones, browns and subtle golds on a pure white base. The veneered oak cabinet internals and breakfast bar are stained in a dark wash to compliment the dark green door and drawer fronts.
As part of this display we included a double depth walk-in larder, complete with suspended open shelving, u-shaped worktop slab and fluted glass paneling. We hand finished the support rods to patina the brass ensuring they matched the other antique brass accents in the kitchen. The decadent fluted glass panels draw you into the space, obscuring the view into the larder, creating intrigue to see what is hidden behind the door.
Muchmore DesignThe primary material used for the kitchen is iroko,
combined with plywood lined interior cabinetry. A four
metre long skylight installed above the island casts natural light across the beautiful oiled iroko wood. Reeded glass, popular in the 1960´s, was also fitted into the sliding pantry doors. The central island and units were installed on matte black plinths providing a floating appearance above the floor.
ContourOur client had clear ideas on their preferred layout for the space and chose to have a bank of tall units behind the island, incorporating the appliances in a landscape configuration. A dark and atmospheric colour palette adds drama to this kitchen and the antique oak wood adds warmth and just a hint of Scandinavian styling. The wrap-around Silestone worktops in Eternal Noir tie the whole scheme together and deliver a striking finish.
piquA large open plan kitchen extension in Petts Wood that features a beautiful selection of materials and textures. The stained oak veneer tall units compliment the lacquered carbon grey panels on the kitchen island, which is wrapped in Black Beauty Sensa stone. The bespoke breakfast and bar area is beautifully finished with mitred stone drawer fronts and very practical pocket doors with recessed handles. The large kitchen island houses the Kohler Sink, Quooker Tap, Siemens Induction Hob and bar stool seating. The back of the island includes an unusual and striking glass panel with laminated brass mesh and sophisticated lighting.

Upon entering, the Crittal-style doors reveal the beautiful interior of the kitchen, complete with a bespoke island that boasts a curved bench seat that can comfortably seat four people. The island also features seating for three, a Quooker tap, AGA oven, and a rounded oak table top, making it the perfect space for entertaining guests. The mirror splashback adds a touch of elegance and luxury, while the traditional high ceilings and bi-fold doors allow plenty of natural light to flood the room.
The island is not just a functional space, but a stunning piece of design as well. The curved cupboards and round oak butchers block are beautifully complemented by the quartz worktops and worktop break-front. The traditional pilasters, nickel handles, and cup pulls add to the timeless feel of the space, while the bespoke serving tray in oak, integrated into the island, is a delightful touch.
Designing for large spaces is always a challenge, as you don't want to overwhelm or underwhelm the space. This kitchen is no exception, but the designers have successfully created a space that is both functional and beautiful. Each drawer and cabinet has its own designated use, and the dovetail solid oak draw boxes add an elegant touch to the overall bespoke kitchen.

Planet FurnitureThis bespoke Shaker kitchen has been hand painted in an inspired colour choice, totally suited to the traditional style yet perfectly on trend and very individual. We love the pairing of the modern marble worktops and splashback with the rich and atmospheric ‘Minster Green’. The contrasts in colour and texture look stunning and the Aga range cooker looks properly at home in this classic setting.
All the details have been carefully considered; the Armac Martin handles in Burnished Brass, the taps in Satin Brass and the Perrin & Rowe Belfast Sink all tap into the Victorian era yet the modern touches provide all the convenience without looking out of place.
The bespoke dresser combines classic styling with modern touches to create a stand-alone piece of furniture that is perfect for displaying favourites pieces and family photos. Using the same paint colour and work top unifies the whole look.
Moving into the spacious utility room, the bespoke cabinets (again, in a Layon Shaker style) but this time hand painted in Treron – another traditional colour but softer and accented with the pretty pink tiling. The run of tall cabinets and open shelving unit are designed to be functional in a room that needs different considerations than a kitchen. Together with the shelving and hanging hooks there’s a place for everything and everything has its place.
Ray Munn KitchensWe had the privilege of transforming the kitchen space of a beautiful Grade 2 listed farmhouse located in the serene village of Great Bealings, Suffolk. The property, set within 2 acres of picturesque landscape, presented a unique canvas for our design team. Our objective was to harmonise the traditional charm of the farmhouse with contemporary design elements, achieving a timeless and modern look.
For this project, we selected the Davonport Shoreditch range. The kitchen cabinetry, adorned with cock-beading, was painted in 'Plaster Pink' by Farrow & Ball, providing a soft, warm hue that enhances the room's welcoming atmosphere.
The countertops were Cloudy Gris by Cosistone, which complements the cabinetry's gentle tones while offering durability and a luxurious finish.
The kitchen was equipped with state-of-the-art appliances to meet the modern homeowner's needs, including:
- 2 Siemens under-counter ovens for efficient cooking.
- A Capel 90cm full flex hob with a downdraught extractor, blending seamlessly into the design.
- Shaws Ribblesdale sink, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal.
- Liebherr Integrated tall fridge, ensuring ample storage with a sleek design.
- Capel full-height wine cabinet, a must-have for wine enthusiasts.
- An additional Liebherr under-counter fridge for extra convenience.
Beyond the main kitchen, we designed and installed a fully functional pantry, addressing storage needs and organising the space.

Sustainable KitchensA country kitchen in rural Pembrokeshire with breathtaking views and plenty of character. Under the striking low beamed ceiling, the Shaker cabinets are designed in an L-shape run with a large central freestanding island.
The kitchen revolves around the generously proportioned Ash island acting as a prep table, a place to perch and plenty of storage.
In keeping with the farmhouse aesthetic, the walk in pantry houses jams and jars with everything on show.
Round the corner lies the utility space with an additional sink and white good appliances with a boot room on entry to the property for muddy wellies and raincoats.
