This warm and cosy modern grey kitchen is located in Hove. Its calm atmosphere allows you to sink into it as soon as you walk in the door. The use of handleless cabinets lends to the modern appeal, while the warm neutral colour palette creates a calming ambience — perfect for family time and socialising with friends. The client wanted a kitchen extension to accommodate open-plan space. We delivered just that: a contemporary, user-friendly, and homely space. The cabinetry is a combination of Nolte's MatrixArt and Feel ranges in Quartz Grey and Volcanic Oak, which add to the calming atmosphere of the room. The large island is perfect for preparing food and quick bites, with plenty of space left in the room for the dining table and sofa for entertaining guests. The worktops are Radianz quartz in Napoli Beige, and the appliances are all from Neff, completing this sophisticated yet inviting kitchen.

After a first-floor renovation of a home for a couple with four grown children, the new kitchen features high-tech appliances purchased through Royal Green and a custom island with a connected table to seat family, friends, and cooking spectators. An old dining room was eliminated, and the whole area was transformed into one open, L-shaped space with a bar and family room. “They wanted to expand the kitchen and have more of an entertaining room for their family gatherings,” says designer Danielle Florie. She designed the kitchen so that two or three people can work at the same time, with a full sink in the island that’s big enough for cleaning vegetables or washing pots and pans. Key Features: Well-Stocked Bar: The bar area adjacent to the kitchen doubles as a coffee center. Topped with a leathered brown marble, the bar houses the coffee maker as well as a wine refrigerator, beverage fridge, and built-in ice maker. Upholstered swivel chairs encourage people to gather and stay awhile. Finishing Touches: Counters around the kitchen and the island are covered with a Cambria quartz that has the light, airy look the homeowners wanted and resists stains and scratches. A geometric marble tile backsplash is an eye-catching decorative element. Into the Wood: The larger table in the kitchen was handmade for the family and matches the island base. Emma and her architect-husband Mick had designed and extended their home, adding more space and light to their kitchen. Being a keen chef, Emma wanted a totally unique kitchen that was going to reflect her gastronomic and colourful personality. “I didn’t want my kitchen to be the same as anyone else’s. Sue showed us beautiful wallpaper patterns that could be replicated in tiling and that’s where the idea for the bohemian tiles came from. “We were working to a tight budget and Sue was so accommodating for this, by suggesting ways in which we could cut our costs without compromising our personalised design. It was refreshing to have that honesty in a supplier. “We are so pleased with the outcome and the service provided, K&B Studios went out of their way to support us throughout the whole process and make sure we got the stylish, individual kitchen that we wanted.”

Faire l’acquisition de surfaces sous les toits nécessite parfois une faculté de projection importante, ce qui fut le cas pour nos clients du projet Timbaud. Initialement configuré en deux « chambres de bonnes », la réunion de ces deux dernières et l’ouverture des volumes a permis de transformer l’ensemble en un appartement deux pièces très fonctionnel et lumineux. Avec presque 41m2 au sol (29m2 carrez), les rangements ont été maximisés dans tous les espaces avec notamment un grand dressing dans la chambre, la cuisine ouverte sur le salon séjour, et la salle d’eau séparée des sanitaires, le tout baigné de lumière naturelle avec une vue dégagée sur les toits de Paris. Tout en prenant en considération les problématiques liées au diagnostic énergétique initialement très faible, cette rénovation allie esthétisme, optimisation et performances actuelles dans un soucis du détail pour cet appartement destiné à la location.

You can also look at corner drawers and cupboards that open up to reveal lots of extra storage.
