Gilmans Kitchens and BathsThis kitchen was designed to function around a large family. The owners spend their weekend prepping large meals with extended family, so we gave them as much countertop space to prep and cook as we could. Tall cabinets, a secondary banks of drawers, and a bar area, were placed to the connecting space from the kitchen to the dining room for additional storage. Finally, a light wood and selective accents were chosen to give the space a light and airy feel.
Neighbors Home RemodelingThis kitchen had the old laundry room in the corner and there was no pantry. We converted the old laundry into a pantry/laundry combination. The hand carved travertine farm sink is the focal point of this beautiful new kitchen.
Notice the clean backsplash with no electrical outlets. All of the electrical outlets, switches and lights are under the cabinets leaving the uninterrupted backslash. The rope lighting on top of the cabinets adds a nice ambiance or night light.

The homeowner’s wanted a large galley style kitchen with island. It was important to the wife the island be unique and serve many purposes. Our team used Google Sketchup to produce and present concept after concept. Each revision brought us closer to what you see. The final design boasted a two sided island (yes, there is storage under the bar) 6” thick cantilevered bar ledge over a steel armature, and waterfall counter tops on both ends. On one end we had a slit fabricated to receive one side of a tempered glass counter top. The other side is supported by a stainless steel inverted U. The couple usually enjoys breakfast or coffee and the morning news at this quaint spot.

LuxeMark CompanyThe builder, Stellar Blu, wanted something a little different for this Parade of Homes home but Wake Forest can be a tricky market and so it was important to maintain marketability. We chose to use leaded glass, LED in cabinet lighting and other subtile features to create a timeless design.

CDH Designs LLCAfter going through the tragedy of losing their home to a fire, Cherie Miller of CDH Designs and her family were having a difficult time finding a home they liked on a large enough lot. They found a builder that would work with their needs and incredibly small budget, even allowing them to do much of the work themselves. Cherie not only designed the entire home from the ground up, but she and her husband also acted as Project Managers. They custom designed everything from the layout of the interior - including the laundry room, kitchen and bathrooms; to the exterior. There's nothing in this home that wasn't specified by them.

Kitchen TechnologyThis small apartment kitchen was totally transformed. We opened up the side wall to create a more open space. The shaker door style with a rich espresso stain contrasts beautifully against the white kashmir granite countertops. We decided to use smaller scaled appliances in this space. We even were able to design a mini bar with an under counter wine cooler!
Paradise Tiny Homes LLCThis Ohana model ATU tiny home is contemporary and sleek, cladded in cedar and metal. The slanted roof and clean straight lines keep this 8x28' tiny home on wheels looking sharp in any location, even enveloped in jungle. Cedar wood siding and metal are the perfect protectant to the elements, which is great because this Ohana model in rainy Pune, Hawaii and also right on the ocean.
A natural mix of wood tones with dark greens and metals keep the theme grounded with an earthiness.
Theres a sliding glass door and also another glass entry door across from it, opening up the center of this otherwise long and narrow runway. The living space is fully equipped with entertainment and comfortable seating with plenty of storage built into the seating. The window nook/ bump-out is also wall-mounted ladder access to the second loft.
The stairs up to the main sleeping loft double as a bookshelf and seamlessly integrate into the very custom kitchen cabinets that house appliances, pull-out pantry, closet space, and drawers (including toe-kick drawers).
A granite countertop slab extends thicker than usual down the front edge and also up the wall and seamlessly cases the windowsill.
The bathroom is clean and polished but not without color! A floating vanity and a floating toilet keep the floor feeling open and created a very easy space to clean! The shower had a glass partition with one side left open- a walk-in shower in a tiny home. The floor is tiled in slate and there are engineered hardwood flooring throughout.
Boheen & CoWe were called to update a kitchen that had not been touched since the 1950's. It needed some serious modernization with new appliances and lighting as a start. The most meaningful change was to open up the kitchen to the rest of the house. We opened up the wall that ran where the sink currently is. The homeowner wanted a fresh, light, "Old Florida" feel. We created this design by layering in light blues, grays, and natural elements of stone and wood. To keep it feeling light and clean, Stainless Steel is used for all the metal finishes.
The Creative Kitchen CompanyThe beautiful lake house that finally got the beautiful kitchen to match. A sizable project that involved removing walls and reconfiguring spaces with the goal to create a more usable space for this active family that loves to entertain. The kitchen island is massive - so much room for cooking, projects and entertaining. The family loves their open pantry - a great functional space that is easy to access everything the family needs from a coffee bar to the mini bar complete with ice machine and mini glass front fridge. The results of a great collaboration with the homeowners who had tricky spaces to work with.
Molly's Marketplace, a home renovation's paradiseWe completely renovated this kitchen giving it some Farmhouse style. We incorporated white Cabinetry with grey granite, white subway backsplash with gray grout. We also custom built 2 wooden floating shelves and barn doors for the pantry. This kitchen island is huge and offers a great amount of storage and entertaining space. We painted inside a warm gray that complimented the laminate flooring that we installed.
