Each window was trimmed with 4" crown molding, a projecting window sill with undersill trim, and 6" casings.
All of this trim work is virtually maintenance-free. This trim will NEVER rot, warp, crack, twist, or create future problems like exposed wood ALWAYS does, eventually. Sherwin Williams Duration paint is applied with two coats over all exterior trim, creating a PERFECT match to other components, such as window, soffit, or gutter colors.
ALL exterior trim is entirely made of composite materials, NOT wood. The only exposed wood that we install on the exterior of a home is wood that will be stained with a semi-transparent finish.
