There is a four foot infinity edge water feature pouring into the pool. A lazy river water feature made out of moss boulders also falls over the pool's edge adding a pleasant, natural running water sound to the surroundings. The pool deck is exposed aggregate. Seat bench walls and the exterior of the hot tub made of moss rock veneer and capped with flagstone. The coping was custom fabricated on site out of flagstone. Retaining walls were installed to border the softscape pictured. We also installed an outdoor kitchen and pergola next to the home.

AquaTerra OutdoorsThis pool and spa is built in an affluent neighborhood with many new homes that are traditional in design but have modern, clean details. Similar to the homes, this pool takes a traditional pool and gives it a clean, modern twist. The site proved to be perfect for a long lap pool that the client desired with plenty of room for a separate spa. The two bodies of water, though separate, are visually linked together by a custom limestone raised water feature wall with 10 custom Bobe water scuppers.
Quality workmanship as required throughout the entire build to ensure the automatic pool cover would remain square the entire 50 foot length of the pool.
Features of this pool and environment that enhance the aesthetic appeal of this project include:

Harold Leidner Landscape ArchitectsCompleted in 2012, this property features an entirely renovated garden and pool area that includes a custom designed guilt iron pavilion. This pavilion features exquisite detailing in the columns and the roof. The pavilion features gas lanterns and subtle landscape lighting to make it come alive in the evenings. The pavilion sits above a completely renovated swimming pool with all new travertine decking and coping. New LED lighting has been added to the pool along with illuminated bubbler jets in the tanning ledge. The gardens along side the pool area are lined with a boxwood parterre and lush landscaping. An upper courtyard terrace features an outdoor cooking area and fireplace with seating area. A wonderful renovation project.

Land & Water DesignOur client requested Land & Water Design to design a unique backyard, utilizing every bit of open area. Within the requests were a 12'x22' swimming pool with swim jet system to accommodate the competitive swimmers in their family. The items on their "wish list" were enough hardscape areas to accommodate at least 20 guests, a beautiful low maintenance landscape, custom storage area, outdoor lighting, water jets, retaining wall, seat walls and finally a small area for outdoor grilling.
