GO Architectural Design, PLLCBeautiful vaulted beamed ceiling with large fixed windows overlooking a screened porch on the river. Built in cabinets and gas fireplace with glass tile surround and custom wood surround. Wall mounted flat screen painting tv. The flooring is Luxury Vinyl Tile but you'd swear it was real Acacia Wood because it's absolutely beautiful.
Tracy Berman InteriorsThis gorgeous beach condo sits on the banks of the Pacific ocean in Solana Beach, CA. The previous design was dark, heavy and out of scale for the square footage of the space. We removed an outdated bulit in, a column that was not supporting and all the detailed trim work. We replaced it with white kitchen cabinets, continuous vinyl plank flooring and clean lines throughout. The entry was created by pulling the lower portion of the bookcases out past the wall to create a foyer. The shelves are open to both sides so the immediate view of the ocean is not obstructed. New patio sliders now open in the center to continue the view. The shiplap ceiling was updated with a fresh coat of paint and smaller LED can lights. The bookcases are the inspiration color for the entire design. Sea glass green, the color of the ocean, is sprinkled throughout the home. The fireplace is now a sleek contemporary feel with a tile surround. The mantel is made from old barn wood. A very special slab of quartzite was used for the bookcase counter, dining room serving ledge and a shelf in the laundry room. The kitchen is now white and bright with glass tile that reflects the colors of the water. The hood and floating shelves have a weathered finish to reflect drift wood. The laundry room received a face lift starting with new moldings on the door, fresh paint, a rustic cabinet and a stone shelf. The guest bathroom has new white tile with a beachy mosaic design and a fresh coat of paint on the vanity. New hardware, sinks, faucets, mirrors and lights finish off the design. The master bathroom used to be open to the bedroom. We added a wall with a barn door for privacy. The shower has been opened up with a beautiful pebble tile water fall. The pebbles are repeated on the vanity with a natural edge finish. The vanity received a fresh paint job, new hardware, faucets, sinks, mirrors and lights. The guest bedroom has a custom double bunk with reading lamps for the kiddos. This space now reflects the community it is in, and we have brought the beach inside.
D&G ConstructionA beautiful linear fire place surrounded by white ceramic tile. Above the fire place is a large brown wooden mantle with two metallic light fixtures. The walls are egg shell white with large white, flat trim. A T.V. and T.V. mount is on the wall at the end of the room. Above the T.V is a sky light to illuminate the white room.

Long-time, returning clients wanted a family hang out space, equipped with a fireplace, wet bar, bathroom, workout room and guest bedroom.
They loved the idea of adding value to their home, but loved the idea of having a place for their boys to go with friends even more.
We used the luxury vinyl plank from their main floor for continuity, as well as navy influences that we have incorporated around their home so far, this time in the cabinetry and vanity.
The unique fireplace design was a fun alternative to shiplap and a regular tiled facade.

Village and Coast, LLCOpen concept great room decorated in coastal casual style. Reverse floorplan affords views of the community treetops and a peek of the ocean in the distance. Built in cabinets flank the tiled gas fireplace for storage of all media components.

TOC design & construction inc.Homeowners’ request: To convert the existing wood burning fire place into a gas insert and installed a tv recessed into the wall. To be able to fit the oversized antique leather couch, to fit a massive library collection.
I want my space to be functional, warm and cozy. I want to be able to sit by my fireplace, read my beloved books, gaze through the large bay window and admire the view. This space should feel like my sanctuary but I want some whimsy and lots of color like an old English den but it must be organized and cohesive.
Designer secret: Building the fireplace and making sure to be able to fit non custom bookcases on either side, adding painted black beams to the ceiling giving the space the English cozy den feeling, utilizing the opposite wall to fit tall standard bookcases, minimizing the furniture so that the clients' over sized couch fits, adding a whimsical desk and wall paper to tie all the elements together.

Guenther Designs & Consulting LLCA view of the great room, as seen staining in the 12'-0" case opening that separates the two story great room for the kitchen. We see the use of more mosaic tiles that match the kitchen backsplash. The client continued the theme of using the cabinets as an accent element. The open shelves are painted a deep brown color to mimic the color of the wet bar and kitchen island cabinets.
