Let's RemodelThe basement bathroom had all sorts of quirkiness to it. The vanity was too small for a couple of growing kids, the shower was a corner shower and had a storage cabinet incorporated into the wall that was almost too tall to put anything into. This space was in need of a over haul. We updated the bathroom with a wall to wall shower, light bright paint, wood tile floors, vanity lights, and a big enough vanity for growing kids. The space is in a basement meaning that the walls were not tall. So we continued the tile and the mirror to the ceiling. This bathroom did not have any natural light and so it was important to have to make the bathroom light and bright. We added the glossy tile to reflect the ceiling and vanity lights.

DesignbyRuchiThis is the kids bathroom and I wanted it to be playful. Adding geometry and pattern in the floor makes a bold fun statement. I used enhances subway tile with beautiful matte texture in two colors. I tiled the tub alcove dark blue with a full length niche for all the bath toys that accumulate. In the rest of the bathroom, I used white tiles. The custom Lacava vanity with a black open niche makes a strong statement here and jumps off against the white tiles.
Dee Hurford DesignsThe hall bath of the Thornton Double Bath Remodel got a fresh look by removing and replacing everything without changing the layout.
The previous vanity was a 48" double vanity and allowed no couther space. It was replaced with the 48" single bowl Quen Vanity from Signature Hardware in white with a Carrara marble top. The single bowl offers a lot of counter space and the 9 drawers and double door cabinet offers an abundance of storage space below. The decorative base makes the vanity feel like a piece of furniture. The old medicine cabinet was replaced with a Kohler double mirrored frameless option topped off with a contemporary George Kovacs bar light

Harper Design BuildBuilt at the turn of the century, this historic limestone’s 4,000 SF interior presented endless opportunities for a spacious and grand layout for a family of five. Modern living juxtaposes the original staircase and the exterior limestone façade. The renovation included digging out the cellar to make space for a music room and play space. The overall expansive layout includes 5 bedrooms, family room, art room and open dining/living space on the parlor floor. This design build project took 12 months to complete from start to finish.
