Henry Kate Design Co.
The loft-style camphouse bed was planned and built by Henry Kate Design Co. staff. (The one it was modeled after wasn't going to fit on the wall, so we reverse-engineered it and did it ourselves!)

Our simple office fits nicely under the lofted custom-made guest bed meets bookcase (handmade with salvage bead board and sustainable maple plywood).
Girl About The House
We painted a storage unit blue and added animal handles to it. Then we used it to hold toys in storage baskets.

THEME Doors are a visual frame to the
entrance of a great room. This highquality,
personalized element adds
fun and interest to the room before it
is even entered, and provides a great
introduction for any theme.
FOCUS The half-door offers unique
access to the room, providing a true
feeling of ownership for the child and
peace of mind for parents. The top half
of the door swings separate from the
bottom, maintaining great ventilation
and a clear view into the room.
GROWTH The doors look beautiful and
function normally for many years.
SAFETY The doors easily replace
unsightly baby gates and provide
the same level of restraint, without
the footholds or slats often used by
children to manipulate or climb gates.
Solid wood core birch construction
keeps sound out (or sound in) when
the door is closed, while a sliding
gate lock safely secures the bottom
half, and makes opening the top half
simple.

Girl About The House
After the mural was hung I built a palm tree.
I made a frame from chicken wire and fastened it to the trunking in the corner of the room. I then covered it in wadding after which I covered it with sacking material.I frayed the edges to look like the peeling trunk of a palm tree.
Once I had added branches and coconuts the tree was complete.
