Sam Grigg InteriorsMy brief here was to completely overhaul a bedroom for a young brother and sister. The room was long and narrow, and the idea was to incorporate as much fun into the space as possible. The project was sponsored by Ikea, hence the use of Ikea products.

Seasons in ColourThis room designed for a primary school boy incorporates everything he loves: a reading corner, a stack of books, and lots of colour. This is the Made.com Shark Chair.
The wall is painted in Dulux Steel Symphony 1. The dark colour makes the room feel cosy and it's echoed on the chair colour and bedding accessories.
The room still has space to fit a desk which will be needed as the boy grows up.

We took an open attic space and transformed it into a dream play space for young children. With plenty of space for “rough housing” and for adult seating, this space will help keep cabin fever at bay for years to come.
