If you’ve kept your 70s-style shag rug from high school then you are in luck…. It’s all coming back baby! Featured above is from the Justina Blakeney’s Fabel Collection created by Loloi Rugs. Hand woven in India from bamboo and cotton, these styles give a fresh look to that retro shag!!!
Decorating Den Interiors-Barbara TabakThe inspiration for this room’s design was inspired by the beautiful view found outside the windows. Not wanting to compete with Mother Nature I selected neutral color pallet to blend with the idyllic surroundings. The clean sleek lines of the upholstered furnishings sit in juxtaposition to the natural elements—the woven wood blinds, the driftwood coffee table, the slate and copper wall fountain and other accessories— that are scattered throughout the room. Altogether, the room’s design creates a wonderful area to relax, entertain or simply enjoy the scenery.

American Wallpaper & DesignFrench Doors often pose a challenge on how to cover the glass for some privacy, but still maintain the look and function of the door. Duette honeycomb shades with a cordless operating system work great. The narrow bottom rail clears the handle and there are no unsightly cords that are a choking hazard.
