Dining Room with a Two-sided Fireplace Ideas and Designs

The Nature Hues collection is an answer to the trend that celebrates the contemplation of nature, pastel hues and the beauty of the microcosmos invisible to the naked eye. Collection shows an extraordinary palette of tangible matter and a multitude of nuances that nature spontaneously produces.

A Cotswold village house was stripped back to its core, refurbished and then extended. The purpose being to create an expansive, airy and dramatic space. A space that flows and works for both family life and entertaining whilst still complimenting the existing house.

The owners, inspired by mid-century modern architecture, hired Klopf Architecture to design an Eichler-inspired 21st-Century, energy efficient new home that would replace a dilapidated 1940s home. The home follows the gentle slope of the hillside while the overarching post-and-beam roof above provides an unchanging datum line. The changing moods of nature animate the house because of views through large glass walls at nearly every vantage point. Every square foot of the house remains close to the ground creating and adding to the sense of connection with nature.
