This is the view from the natural stone steps of the front walk. The Weigela and grasses grew so quickly that the landscape filled in nicely. The Red Hot Pokers 'Flaminco' started blooming very early and had sporadic blooms throughout the season. They were perfect for the location because they can take the heat that radiates from the sidewalk and the stone foundation.
