An extensive remodel and second-story addition to a 1960’s home that included: updating the exterior of the home with new siding, trim, fascia, roofing material, architectural elements, new windows & doors throughout, updating both entryways, replacing and adding onto the existing rear deck, removing interior walls, completely remodeling kitchen/ dining/ living area, completely remodeling bedroom wing, adding approximately 200 sf to the main floor for the master suite, adding a second-story family room and office area with a walk-out balcony (approximately 570 sf), and updating the existing garage. The overall architectural style the owner seeked was a modern beach cottage ranch style blend.

We replaced siding and installed James Hardie Select Cedarmill Plank Lap Siding in ColorPlus Technology Color Iron Gray and James Hardie Trim Smooth Boards and Hardie Corners in ColorPlus Technology Color Arctic White on Entire Farm House and remodeled the Columns with Azek. Carpentry work on two of the front elevation entrances, south elevation Balcony Floor, two rear elevation 2nd Floor Balconies, and rear elevation 2nd Floor Enclosed Balcony. Also installed Alside Seamless Aluminum Gutters & Downspouts with all accessories, Vinyl Vents, and replaced trim around Garage Doors with HardieTrim in Arctic White.
Siding Express (Maintenance Free Siding)This modern gray farmhouse was completed using James Hardie Gray Slate Siding. The main siding is 7" cedar mill with James Hardie Shingle and Board and batten used as an accent. The siding variations perfectly complement the Modern Farmhouse theme.
lisa furey interiorsDuck Crossing is a mini compound built over time for our family in Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton, SC. We began with the small one story guest cottage, added the carriage house for our daughters and then, as we determined we needed one gathering space for friends and family, the main house. The challenge was to build a light and bright home that would take full advantage of the lake and preserve views and have enough room for everyone to congregate.
We decided to build an upside down/reverse floorplan home, where the main living areas are on the 2nd floor. We built one great room, encompassing kitchen, dining, living, deck and design studio - added tons of windows and an open staircase, vaulted the ceilings, painted everything white and did whatever else we could to make the small space feel open and welcoming - we think we accomplished this, and then some. The kitchen appliances are behind doors, the island is great for serving and gathering, the tv is hidden - all attention is to the view. When everyone needs their separate space, there are 2 bedrooms below and then additional sleeping, bathing and eating spaces in the cottage and carriage house - it is all just perfect!
Alair Homes ChilliwackThis contemporary farmhouse is located on a scenic acreage in Greendale, BC. It features an open floor plan with room for hosting a large crowd, a large kitchen with double wall ovens, tons of counter space, a custom range hood and was designed to maximize natural light. Shed dormers with windows up high flood the living areas with daylight. The stairwells feature more windows to give them an open, airy feel, and custom black iron railings designed and crafted by a talented local blacksmith. The home is very energy efficient, featuring R32 ICF construction throughout, R60 spray foam in the roof, window coatings that minimize solar heat gain, an HRV system to ensure good air quality, and LED lighting throughout. A large covered patio with a wood burning fireplace provides warmth and shelter in the shoulder seasons.

Siding Express (Maintenance Free Siding)This beautiful dark blue new construction home was built with Deep Blue James Hardie siding and Arctic White trim. 7" cedarmill lap, shingle, and vertical siding were used to create a more aesthetically interesting exterior. the wood garage doors and porch ceilings added another level of curb appeal to this stunning home.
Green Couch DesignBuilt on a unique shaped lot our Wheeler Home hosts a large courtyard and a primary suite on the main level. At 2,400 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths the floor plan includes; open concept living, dining, and kitchen, a small office off the front of the home, a detached two car garage, and lots of indoor-outdoor space for a small city lot. This plan also includes a third floor bonus room that could be finished at a later date. We worked within the Developer and Neighborhood Specifications. The plans are now a part of the Wheeler District Portfolio in Downtown OKC.
