Small bathroom spaces without windows can present a design challenge. Our solution included selecting a beautiful aspen tree wall mural that makes it feel as if you are looking out a window. To keep things light and airy we created a custom natural cedar floating vanity, gold fixtures, and a light green tiled feature wall in the shower.

This Altadena home is the perfect example of modern farmhouse flair. The powder room flaunts an elegant mirror over a strapping vanity; the butcher block in the kitchen lends warmth and texture; the living room is replete with stunning details like the candle style chandelier, the plaid area rug, and the coral accents; and the master bathroom’s floor is a gorgeous floor tile. Project designed by Courtney Thomas Design in La Cañada. Serving Pasadena, Glendale, Monrovia, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, and Altadena. These two custom made soapstone sinks are best described as "farm style vessel bowls" designed for a customer who had this to say: "I chose to work with Lesher Natural Stone, Quartz, & Tile for a bathroom installation in our 200 year old farm house. The decision was deliberate, after looking extensively in central Pennsylvania for a company that offered something other than big-box, mass market products. Frank's [Lesher] obvious passion for his work was infectious. His willingness to accommodate my schedule, to hear my vision for the space, and to produce, on the spot, several novel design ideas that still honored our centuries-old home sealed the deal. It was easy to reach a design plan and from design through installation, all went smoothly and on time. Given another opportunity, I'd make the same choice again without hesitation." Our clients bought the top floor of the world-renowned former pottery and brewery as an empty shell. We were commissioned to create a stylish, contemporary coastal retreat. Our brief included every aspect of the design, from spatial planning and electrical and lighting through to finishing touches such as soft furnishings. The project was particularly challenging given the sheer volume of the space, the number of beams that span the property and its listed status. We played to the industrial heritage of the building combining natural materials with contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. Stark and deliberate contrasts were created between the exposed stone walls and gnarled beams against slick, stylish kitchen cabinetry and upholstery. The overall feel is luxurious and contemporary but equally relaxed and welcoming.
