Urban SkiesThis penthouse apartment situated in the heart of the capitol demanded a stunning and inviting roof garden to really give the client a stunning outside space in the ultimate Urban setting. Working with the Landscaper, we helped develop this amazing covered seating pergola. The design incorporated an extruded aluminium framework with motorised aluminium louvres to give the client shade control but to give the space weather protection. We then included remote operated LED perimeter lighting within the roof along with an integrated heater.
Amber Freda Garden DesignThis custom roof deck in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood features lightweight aluminum decking, ipe planters, an ipe and metal pergola, and ipe benches with built-in storage under the seats. Few woods can match the natural beauty of ipe (pronounced ee-pey), a hardwood with a 30-year life expectancy. These pictures were taken in early spring, before the leaves have filled out on the trees. Plantings include coralbark maples, hornbeams, pink cherry trees, crape myrtles, and feather grasses. Annette Jaffe InteriorsAJI worked with a family of five to design their dream beach home filled with personality and charm. We chose a soft, peaceful neutral palette to create a bright, airy appeal. The open-concept kitchen and living area offer plenty of space for entertaining. In the kitchen, we selected beautiful sand-colored cabinets in the kitchen to recreate a beachy vibe. The client's treasured artworks were incorporated into the decor, creating stunning focal points throughout the home. The gorgeous roof deck offers beautiful views from the bay to the beach. We added comfortable furniture, a bar, and barbecue areas, ensuring this is the favorite hangout spot for family and friends.

MYDECK GmbHGemütliche Sitzecke welche direkt an den Wohn-Essbereich des Penthouses angrenzt. Durch die großen Schiebefester können im Sommer die Grenzen zwischen innen und außen verschwinden und die Terrasse wird zum Wohnzimmer. Aber auch im Winter ist die Terrasse bei diesem Penthouse immer Teil des Raumes, da der Blick ungestört nach draußen kommt.
Bei jedem Wetter schön sind die Premium WPC Dielen von MYDECK, die keine aufwendige Pflege brauchen. Das enthaltene Holz aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft wird von recycelbarem Polyethylen ummantelt und so vor Witterungseinflüssen geschützt. Das lineare Design der splitterfreien Premium WPC Dielen fügt sich bildschön in das moderne Ambiente der Terrasse ein.
Die die Terrasse umgebenden Hochbeete sind in unterschiedlichen Hohen und Tiefen umgesetzt. Die zum Teil immergrünen Pflanzen dienen auch als Sichtschutz auf der Terrasse. Es finden sich aber auch zahlreiche saisonale Pflanzen auf der Terrasse wie Lavendel, verschiedene Blumen und Bäume wie die Zwergbirne, welche jahreszeitliche Akzente setzen.

Adrienne DeRosaThe addition of the kitchenette on the rooftop transformed the patio into a fully-functioning entertainment space. The retractable awning provides shade on the hottest days, or it can be opened up to party under the stars.
Welcoming guests into their home is a way of life for the Novogratzes, and in turn was the primary focus of this renovation.
"We like to have a lot people over on the day-to-day as well as holiday family gatherings and parties with our friends", Cortney explains. With both Robert and Cortney hailing from the South; Virginia and Georgia respectively, the couple have it in their blood to open their home those around them. "We always believe that the most important thing in your home is those you share it with", she says, "so we love to keep up our southern hospitality and are constantly welcoming guests into our home."
