Contemporary Ribbon Fireplaces in living spaces
This project included our Large Bio Container.
There used to be an open chimney breast in the space where the fireplace is built. At first the open space was build up with brick, then rendered with sandstone and cement, finally the inside of the opening was painted with fire-rated black paint. The bio container fits into a pre-cut slot that is larger than the bio container - to allow for slight expansion and no heat transference.
