Our clients returned to us after 10 years of their completed kitchen design as they had received planning permission to build a new home & wanted us to design, supply & install the new kitchen & utility. Our designer Noel who worked with them previously was happy to embark on this exciting new project with them. They knew they definitely wanted another contemporary design for the large open kitchen, dining & living area. A seated island for 4 people was a must along with lots of storage, a separate utility room &, a designated drinks area for social occasions as well as a separate games room. Noel designed mohair door fronts with a dark signature island in Basalt grey & 20mm Quartz worktops. The circular island for seating was designed with 60mm Sparkling white Corian to connect the island to the furniture as-well as create separate cooking & social zones on the island. The plinth line runs along the tall housing to give a hidden aesthetic to the utility room sitting behind it. The built in drinks cabinet with wine fridge is accessible from both the kitchen island & dining area to maximise the social space. The games room bar is designed with a new steel door front Laika & compliments the moody aesthetic. The games room bar is fully equipped with wine coolers, sinks & taps & ice maker. The stainless steel worktops from Italy finish the aesthetic of the design.

Step into this vibrant and inviting kitchen that combines modern design with playful elements. The centrepiece of this kitchen is the 20mm Marbled White Quartz worktops, which provide a clean and sophisticated surface for preparing meals. The light-coloured quartz complements the overall bright and airy ambience of the kitchen. The cabinetry, with doors constructed from plywood, introduces a natural and warm element to the space. A large open plan kitchen extension in Petts Wood that features a beautiful selection of materials and textures. The stained oak veneer tall units compliment the lacquered carbon grey panels on the kitchen island, which is wrapped in Black Beauty Sensa stone. The bespoke breakfast and bar area is beautifully finished with mitred stone drawer fronts and very practical pocket doors with recessed handles. The large kitchen island houses the Kohler Sink, Quooker Tap, Siemens Induction Hob and bar stool seating. The back of the island includes an unusual and striking glass panel with laminated brass mesh and sophisticated lighting.

This project was for the creation of an additional floor at second floor level of an end-of-terrace corner property in Crouch End, north London. The new roof including a large dormer extension was built off-site, to provide an additional one-bedroom flat, but with the flexibility to act as an extension to the first floor flat until such time as the owners decide to separate the two flats in accordance with their family's needs. The new structure, external envelope, roof finishes and internal partitions and fixtures were built off-site using modular construction, to minimise the on-site disruption to the family, and was transported to site in four modules and fitted in place within a single day. The dormer extension is contemporary in style and takes full advantage of the westerly high-level views to the Highgate and Muswell Hill hills through glazed slots and sliding doors that provide access to a roof terrace with 360° views to the surrounding hills. The roof extension echoes the existing, older, first floor kitchen extension in its openness to the garden and views beyond and the lightness of its construction. The contemporary design contrasts but sits well with the Edwardian character of the original property. Our services included detailed design and specification of the extension and the fit-out of the interior and full project management and contract administration. Moduloft was the Contractor responsible for the final design and implementation of the pre-fabricated elements.
