The small enclosed Shade garden occupies the site of the former owners’ “kitchen” garden. It was here, protected from the deer by rock and wire fencing, that the two elderly ladies grew vegetables and flowers for the house.

Mom's Design BuildTree swing and bistro lights in the oak tree made this area fun to play in. Lighting was a huge part of this project so we hung bistro lights in the tree for that romantic touch. Don't forget the white picket fence for that coastal feel.

In this photo a gabion basket wall holds back the steep slope, creating a flat garden area for viewing. Mom's Design BuildThis area features the lounging deck. We have deck step lights that are controlled with the rest of the landscape lights and come on automatically at night. The wall mounted lights on the wood columns are also a nice feature.
