Archetype Design Studio, LLCThe Dining Room was updated from the 1990's, by removal of the tuscan columns and faux finishes on the walls and ceiling. The walls were painted in soothing Sherwin Williams Gray Screen color. The new ceiling was custom designed by Randy and provides a major statement, like the clients were looking for. The mitered wood ceiling mimics the inlaid wood top of the round dining table below. The coral chandelier, palm sconces, sea grass back chairs and the wave rug bring the coastal feel into the space.
Jennifer Grey Color Specialist & Interior DesignThis particular client preferred a slightly more minimalistic feel, so the pieces were thoughtfully chosen for the space, with a less is more attitude. Offering visual texture with the horizontal shiplap wall in the dining room and porcelain wood look flooring tile, in addition to colorful accessories among the neutral backdrop, it gives the space a pique of interest while echoing a feeling of calm throughout.
Pu'uwai Design & ConstructionThe tropical dining room is grounded with a stunning custom basket pendant that hangs above the live edge monkey pod dining table. The floors are gray porcelain tile, and the walls and vaulted ceilings are white nickle gap paneling that flows up from the walls into the ceiling.

A small weekend beach resort home for a family of four with two little girls. Remodeled from a funky old house built in the 60's on Oxnard Shores. This little white cottage has the master bedroom, a playroom, guest bedroom and girls' bunk room upstairs, while downstairs there is a 1960s feel family room with an industrial modern style bar for the family's many parties and celebrations. A great room open to the dining area with a zinc dining table and rattan chairs. Fireplace features custom iron doors, and green glass tile surround. New white cabinets and bookshelves flank the real wood burning fire place. Simple clean white cabinetry in the kitchen with x designs on glass cabinet doors and peninsula ends. Durable, beautiful white quartzite counter tops and yes! porcelain planked floors for durability! The girls can run in and out without worrying about the beach sand damage!. White painted planked and beamed ceilings, natural reclaimed woods mixed with rattans and velvets for comfortable, beautiful interiors Project Location: Oxnard, California. An Indigo wall colour was chosen to reflect the blue of the swimming pool and sea view through French doors. this wall colour also adds depth and atmosphere at night. Limed .worn' wood furniture for the dining table and side board adds texture and resembles drift wood. The owners own artwork depicting local scenes adds a personal finish.
