Rebecca was commissioned to design a modern relaxed bathroom which would suit a period home in the Perth Hills and its unspoilt country location.
Cabinet maker Andre Zervas used Marri wood to make bespoke vanity and mirrored wall storage. The soft honey tones of Marri wood are enhanced by the contrasting black natural grains than run through this native timber. A 40 mm band of stainless steel was inset into the design , flowing from left to right in a gentle curve to give the illusion of a shining wave.
The basin needed to harmonise with how these materials had been used. Rebecca choose the rectangular Mojo basin from Marlbo. This model is a popular choice for ultra modern bathrooms but Rebecca’s experienced eye saw that the basin’s finish and sculptured lines would be a perfect fit for her specific bathroom design.’
