CLARE HAXBY PAINTINGS

I have been a regular visitor to The Singapore Botanic Gardens ever since we arrived in Singapore and lived close by. I have enjoyed family walks there and would take my youngest child Alfie most days when he was a baby. My favourite time to visit is early morning as the gentle art of Tai Chi is practised in the gardens by groups and individuals, its a great time to reflect and its a little cooler as Singapore has 90% humidity all year round. The gardens are really beautiful with a lake that houses swans gifted by the English monarchy. The gardens are divided into plant and flower groups and some magnificent trees. I have seen the gardens expand over the last few years to now include The Healing Garden and the Evolution Garden. The Orchid Garden and The Ginger Garden have been inspirational in this collection of botanical paintings. This collection of botanical paintings includes 'Sunbird' and 'My Beautiful Ginger Lilies' both of which I am showing in Venice, Italy this summer 2015. At the time of writing Singapore Botanic Gardens has been granted Unesco World Heritage status. Signed Limited Edition Prints available from $450 SGD Visit www.clarehaxby.com
