It was time to update the look of this Naperville, IL kitchen. New flooring was installed to match the existing wood floors. This gave us a variety of brown tones to work with. The homeowner chose a rich Chocolate stain on cherry. The cherry wood gives this deep tone a warm richness, while the Shaker style doors keep the look clean and updated. The cove crown and the sleek baseboard moldings keep the kitchen feeling modern. The creamy white granite countertops give the space a light feeling, and also tie together all the colors in our palette.
Additional modern touches include the subway tile done in glossy gray tones. Industrial pendant light fixtures, and a commercial style faucet complete this transformation.
