Our goal with this project was to create a family friendly space that was still a calming master retreat. Light wood-look tile, laid in a herringbone pattern, allowed durability while not sacrificing style. Casual, low-maintenance bedding in a neutral palette accented with pops of natural wood, green, and brass create a muted coastal feel. Patterned runners on either side of the bed were a special request of the family. Small and lush washable rugs are a stylish alternative to a large, and hard to keep clean, area rug. Practical storage and seating created needed function on a previously blank tv wall.

This project was executed remotely in close collaboration with the client. The primary bedroom actually had an unusual dilemma in that it had too many windows, making furniture placement awkward and difficult. We converted one wall of windows into a full corner-to-corner drapery wall, creating a beautiful and soft backdrop for their bed. We also designed a little boy’s nursery to welcome their first baby boy.

Планировочное решение получилось следующим. При входе сделали угловой высокий шкаф до потолка, который заменил гардеробную. Кровать спрятали в нише за конструкцией шкафа. Большой желтый диван, выбранный клиентом, занял место в зоне гостиной у окна. Стен не сносили, поэтому кухня осталась изолированной, и там продумали функциональное наполнение.

Agrandir l’espace et préparer une future chambre d’enfant Nous avons exécuté le projet Commandeur pour des clients trentenaires. Il s’agissait de leur premier achat immobilier, un joli appartement dans le Nord de Paris. L’objet de cette rénovation partielle visait à réaménager la cuisine, repenser l’espace entre la salle de bain, la chambre et le salon. Nous avons ainsi pu, à travers l’implantation d’un mur entre la chambre et le salon, créer une future chambre d’enfant. Coup de coeur spécial pour la cuisine Ikea. Elle a été customisée par nos architectes via Superfront. Superfront propose des matériaux chics et luxueux, made in Suède; de quoi passer sa cuisine Ikea au niveau supérieur !

The ceiling picture is a vintage 60's ceramic pendant, painted with Annie Sloan white chalk paint. A collection of vintage oil paintings -- several of desert scenes - capture the outdoor feeling and bring it inside A pink velvet French-style large bergere from Restoration Hardware somehow matches with the mid-century twig nightstands, and a pink formica boomerang side table. Bedside lamps from Target, and a mix of vintage bedside rugs include a rattan woven mat from IKEA. The bulk of the budget here went for a 100% latex mattress and the antique wooden bench at the foot of the bed. A true design mix.
