This contemporary bathroom is in the Seattle Green Custom home by H2D Architecture + Design. We used numerous green features in this bathroom. The floor (not pictured) is covered with a recycled content tile with a slip rating for ADA accessibility. The countertops are Novustone, a locally produced custom countertop made from post-consumer recycled glass. The accent tile in this bathroom is from 100% recycled glass direct from the Seattle waste stream. The tile is sourced from Bedrock Industries in Seattle. Simple Steps
This opal colored mosaic tile called Metropolis Opal comes in a larger pattern, giving a variation of tones from cool blue silvers to warm beige's and creams. The tub surrounding is Nero Maltese and the floor is Polar ice. The black mosaic tiles on the walls are Brillante 260 3/8" x 3/8". These materials come in a variety of colors.

The glass in this mix is primarily from beer, wine, and soda bottles. It could have been waste, but instead it is in this sophisticated Vetrazzo mix: Charisma Blue with patina.
