The angled wall was designed to improve flow in the space and provides the perfect home for the oversized mother of pearl mirror. UserThe original master bathroom was tiny and outdated, with a single sink. The new design maximizes space and light while making the space feel luxurious. Eliminating the wall between the bedroom and bath and replacing it with sliding cherry and glass shoji screens brought more light into each room.
A custom double vanity with makeup area was added.

CairnsCraft Design & RemodelOur client requested a design that reflected their need to renovate their dated bathroom into a transitional floor plan that would provide accessibility and function. The new shower design consists of a pony wall with a glass enclosure that has beautiful details of brushed nickel square glass clamps.
The interior shower fittings entail geometric lines that lend a contemporary finish. A curbless shower and linear drain added an extra dimension of accessibility to the plan. In addition, a balance bar above the accessory niche was affixed to the wall for extra stability.
The shower area also includes a folding teak wood bench seat that also adds to the comfort of the bathroom as well as to the accessibility factors. Improved lighting was created with LED Damp-location rated recessed lighting. LED sconces were also used to flank the Robern medicine cabinet which created realistic and flattering light. UserIn this master bathroom renovation, a Crema Marfil marble was selected for the floor and tub deck, as the movement of the tile was complementary to that in the existing Alabaster tile used for the shower walls. With continuity in mind, Crema Marfil was also selected for the vanity tops and a mocha glazed, canvas finish was specified for the vanities themselves. By choosing a rich, neutral color for the walls, the designer ensured that the cream and brown tones in all the materials would appear dominant, unifying those materials and giving the room a warm, relaxing feel.
