Cre8tive Rooms LtdWe were tasked with designing and installing a cinema room which could be shared by residents of a luxury development in Covent Garden, London. The room was wide and shallow with low ceilings which made the use of a ceiling mounted projector almost impossible. Not only would the aesthetics of the room have been compromised, but the residents may have experienced shadowing on the screen. We therefore opted for the latest 4k UHD ultra-short throw projector from Sony. This can be seen sitting directly under the screen producing an amazing 120 inch 4K image. Laser technology means the unit has over 50000 hours of use maintenance free and is incredibly quiet. Sound is powered by Artcoustic Speakers of Denmark using their Architect 4-2 Ceiling speaker series combined with two Impact amps sitting both sides of the bespoke media unit below the screen. Control 4 Automation pulls the system together, with all equipment being controlled through an easy to use iPad app.

Design Director Zoe Lee’s passion for customization is evident in this city residence where she melds the elevated experience of luxury hotels with a soft and inviting atmosphere that feels welcoming. Lee’s panache for artful contrasts pairs the richness of strong materials, such as oak and porcelain, with the sophistication of contemporary silhouettes. “The goal was to create a sense of indulgence and comfort, making every moment spent in the homea truly memorable one,” says Lee.
By enlivening a once-predominantly white colour scheme with muted hues and tactile textures, Lee was able to impart a characterful countenance that still feels comfortable. She relied on subtle details to ensure this is a residence infused with softness. “The carefully placed and concealed LED light strips throughout create a gentle and ambient illumination,” says Lee.
“They conjure a warm ambiance, while adding a touch of modernity.” Further finishes include a Shaker feature wall in the living room. It extends seamlessly to the room’s double-height ceiling, adding an element of continuity and establishing a connection with the primary ensuite’s wood panelling. “This integration of design elements creates a cohesive and visually appealing atmosphere,” Lee says.
The ensuite’s dramatically veined marble-look is carried from the walls to the countertop and even the cabinet doors. “This consistent finish serves as another unifying element, transforming the individual components into a
captivating feature wall. It adds an elegant touch to the overall aesthetic of the space.”
Pops of black hardware throughout channel that elegance and feel welcoming. Lee says, “The furnishings’ unique characteristics and visual appeal contribute to a sense of continuous luxury – it is now a home that is both bespoke and wonderfully beckoning.”
RFW Cabinetry & MillworkBuilt in media wall unit done for client in Palm Beach Florida. This beautiful unit is installed on the tenth floor in a condominium. It is installed in the living room with a lot of natural light coming in through the sliding glass doors facing the ocean. The faux finished, steel-brushed veneer paneling is made out of paldao wood. The floating console that is attached to the front of the unit by french-cleats houses the electronics for the unit and features assisted-lift blum aventos hl hinges that lift up parallel to the console.

Terri Becker DesignsThis media room begs for you to come in, relax and stay a while. The arched ceiling has a hand painted galaxy painted by a local artist with glow in the dark paint, color changing LED lighting you can quickly adjust the mood and vibe of the room. Custom leather seating is lush and reclines, custom bar seating with and bar with quartz countertop give additional seating opportunities. Walls are deep gray with mosaic scone lighting, high end Kane Carpet is lush and beautiful. This room is party ready, complete with pop corn machine.
Cre8tive Rooms LtdWe were tasked with converting an unused orangery on the side of a beautiful house in Milton Keynes into a multi-purpose golf simulator and cinema room that could be enjoyed by the whole family. The biggest design consideration was the amount of glass and therefore light that flooded into the room. To combat this, we combined fabric cinema panelling with Q-Motion automated blinds to create a safe and suitable environment for the technology. The system itself combines a GSX shooting, racing and golf simulator as well as cinema technology for video streaming. A Dolby 7.2 Surround sound system powered by Artcoustic Speakers of Denmark delivers incredible sound and fills the space very well. This was the first time we had used a cinema sound system to power a sports simulator and the results were incredible, the experience is really brought to life with this level of sound! Finally, Control 4 home automation pulls the whole system together, making everything super easy to control with one simple remote.
