A renovation of a Cottage in Lymington, New Forest.
The bedroom, of necessity, had to house the boiler for the property. To keep the sound down we built a cupboard to the ceiling and insulated well. The oak claddings are all cosmetic, the hand forged hinges and door pulls create a sense of rustic country and the little cupboards absolutely maximise space. Better than the ugly boxing that could have been!
This seems a clever use of space to incorporate some rustic cupboards
