may I suggest adding to Garden tools - Oil all wooden handles before putting away for winter. Clean all the garden tool blades with alcohol between uses and also before putting away for winter.

Pantry - Rotate older food to the front. Make a list of an pantry items you need to restock inventory. Donate food that is still good and you know you are not going to use.

I've given many old towels away to animal shelters, but I also cut them up, and finishe the edges on my serger. Then my husband uses them for cleaning out the barbecue, painting, and other really dirty jobs.

Old towels and dish towels make great mess mopper uppers around the house and reduce paper towel use. We take old dish towels folded in half and sewn together in a tic tack toe pattern and use them in place of "quick picker uppers". In fact they work better than paper towels then we toss them in the washer . We fold then and store them in a rack made for storing pot lids for quick access.
